More power reserves and less phase shift in the audioband make the 331 sound even more lifelike than its predecessor.

Enjoy the purity and power this music machine is able to deliver.

Highlights

Philosophy
Most integrated amplifiers combine the functions of volume control, source selection and amplification in single multi-function circuit. Not so the soulution 331 Integrated amplifier. It takes the uncompromising route of separate circuits, combining a dedicated preamplifier, a dedicated power amplifier, a first class phono stage and an exquisite D/A-converter in one housing. It is a real soulution product – truly a great amplifier.

New power supply
Four new cutting-edge switched-mode power supplies modules deliver 1,200 VA of continuous power for the power amplfier section with a peak power capability of up to 4’200 VA for more than 5 seconds. They feature high performance filtering at the input and output, and high speed soulution voltage regulators to deliver considerably more stable power than any conventional, transformer-based technology.

Power amplifier
The amplification circuit of the 331 is based on the technology used in our Series 5 amplifiers. Current amplification is done in three stages, each with a narrow, almost linear operating range.

Preamplifier and volume control
Relay-switched high precision metal foil resistors form an 80 step (1 dB) volume control. To avoid unpleasant clicking noises or harmful voltage peaks during volume adjustments, the 331 is provided with a second volume control path which is active only during volume adjustments. This secondary, IC based volume control alters the volume without any click or pops. Once the new volume is set, the 331 will revert to the sonically superior path with its high-precision metal foil resistors. The frequency bandwidth of the preamplifier section could be extended to more than 2MHz (-3dB), which does significantly reduce the phase shift in the audio band.

Phono stage (optional)
A two stage, active/passive, design equalizes the input signal according to the RIAA specifications. Tight tolerance, high quality passive components in the RIAA networks ensure highest precision of the required time-constants. Three wide bandwidth, low noise amplifier stages provide 60dB gain with minimal deviations to the ideal frequency and phase response of the system. The adjustable termination impedance (via the remote or front panel controls) allows to perfectly align the phono stage to your MC phono cartridge.

DAC (optional)
With its 4 digital inputs (SPDIF, AES/EBU, Network, USB) provides connectivity to a wide selection of digital sources. A powerful DSP converts all incoming digital music signals to the DXD format, performs the zeroPhase processing and the LEEDH volume control. One PCM1792 in mono configuration per channel takes care of the digital to analog conversion of the music signals. The internal digital filtering of the chip is bypassed for optimal results. The passive reconstruction filter sports custom made high precision components ensuring stable filter characteristics, prerequisite for a perfect compensation with the zeroPhase technology.

Operation
The 331 integrated amplifier is operated via its three front panel buttons and rotary control. Multi-functional, these allow optimisation of the entire audio system, and an ideal set-up of the individual components. All operating modes are indicated on the clear display.

Dynamics. Resolution. Control. Musicality.…
…All as close to perfection as possible. It’s what characterizes the soulution 325 preamplifier. Optionally equipped with a first class phono stage and/or a top notch D/A converter it converts itself to the center of your audiophile music system.

Highlights

Philosophy
A preamplifier should only amplify or attenuate the music signal, not change it in any way. No distortion, no hum or noise, at the same time achieving the lowest cross talk and widest bandwidth. The soulution 325 preamplifier elegantly meets these demands.

Layout
Unbalanced design ensures the fewest components in the signal path. Physical separation of the left and right channel provides optimal separation and cross talk performance. High quality relays switch between the inputs. For safety, an audio grade coupling capacitor protects the preamplifier as well as downstream amplifiers and loudspeakers from potential DC-components in source signals..

Volume control
The 325’s volume control uses only high-precision, low-noise metal foil resistors, and it controls both the volume and balance. To block switching peaks during volume changes which may be hazardous to power amplifiers, the 325 is equipped with a second volume control with a PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier). Active only during the volume control process, it is similar to a potentiometer and enables the volume to be adjusted in smooth, click-free steps. As soon as the new desired level value has been selected, the unit returns control to the precision resistors.

Power supply
A switched mode power supply and audiophile DC-DC converters with linear regulator provide the required supply voltages for the 325 preamplifier. Induction of noise is omitted by physical separation from the analog audio boards and effective shielding. Switched mode power supplies provide supply voltages that are more stable and lower in noise than other power supply technologies.

Theater-Mode
The 325 may as well be integrated in an Audio/Video system. One input can be defined as surround input. Volume and balance settings of the 325 preamplifier will be ignored for the surround Input.

Amplification
The amplification circuit of the 311 is based on the technology used in our Series 5 amplifiers. Current amplification is done in three stages, each with a narrow, almost linear operating range. High-precision idle current management ensures optimal Class A operation for all conditions, without requiring any readjustment in the music signal. Optimal sound is thereby guaranteed immediately from switch on. Control circuits that protect against RF or DC signals at the input, and short circuits at the output ensure safe operation in all situations.

An uncompromising preamplifier and an uncompromising power amplifier, both of reference quality, combined in one housing. A first class phono stage and a exquisite D/A-converter are also available as options. That is the way we at soulution understand the concept of an integrated amplifier.

Enjoy the purity and power this music machine is able to deliver.

Highlights

Philosophy
Most integrated amplifiers combine the functions of volume control, source selection and amplification in single multi-function circuit. Not so the soulution 330 Integrated amplifier. It takes the uncompromising route of separate circuits, combining a dedicated preamplifier, and a dedicated power amplifier in one housing. It is a real soulution product – truly a great amplifier.

Design
The audio section of the 330 is physically separated from the power supply and digital circuits. In order to reduce interferences to a minimum, these sections are additionally shielded. The power amplifier section as well as its dedicated power supplies are executed in dual-mono layout for optimal channel separation (> 105 dB) which is key for a three dimensional sound stage.

Amplification
The amplification circuit of the 330 is based on the technology used in our Series 5 amplifiers. Current amplification is done in three stages, each with a narrow, almost linear operating range. The high Class A operation supplemented by more than 160,000 µF of storage capacitance results in a nearly infinite impulse response.

Power supply
A total of six power supplies – optimized for each function – feed the 330 integrated amplifier. Four cutting-edge switched-mode power supplies deliver 1,200 VA of audiophile quality power. They feature high performance filtering at the input and output, and high speed soulution voltage regulators to deliver considerably more stable power than any conventional, transformer-based technology.

Volume control
The 330’s volume control uses only high-precision, low-noise metal foil resistors, and it controls both the volume and balance. To block switching peaks during volume changes which may be hazardous to power amps, the 330 is equipped with a second volume control with PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier). Active only during the volume control process, it is similar to a potentiometer and enables the volume to be adjusted smoothly without clicks. As soon as the new desired level value has been selected, the unit returns control to the precision resistors.

Theatre mode
Theater mode allows users to optimally integrate the 330 with AV systems. In theatre mode, the input signal by-passes the preamplifier section without any adjustment for volume or balance.

Operation
The 330 integrated amplifier is operated via its three front panel buttons and rotary control. Multi-functional, these allow optimisation of the entire audio system, and an ideal set-up of the individual components. All operating modes are indicated on the clear display.
